This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager based in the United States.
This role sits within a Professional Services team and is responsible for successfully delivering SaaS implementations for customers. You will lead multiple projects from planning through completion, balancing scope, timelines, resources, risks, and customer expectations. The position combines structured project management with strong stakeholder leadership and hands-on execution. You will work closely with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure projects remain aligned with business goals and delivery commitments. Success requires the ability to anticipate challenges, manage change effectively, and communicate clearly at every stage of an implementation. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by applying project management best practices and lessons learned. Accountabilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple customer implementation projects.
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and maintain alignment around project objectives, deliverables, milestones, and expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, resources, budgets, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delivery challenges.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies while managing scope changes, budget adjustments, and timeline shifts through structured change control processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure resources are appropriately aligned to support successful project delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, project updates, decisions, and lessons learned.
- Provide clear and timely project updates to customers, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
- Apply industry best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to strengthen project execution, delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Serve as a proactive partner throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6–9 years of professional project management experience, including experience within a SaaS environment.
- Proven experience managing SaaS implementations, professional services engagements, or enterprise software deployments.
- Experience managing project scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, data integration concepts, and enterprise IT environments.
- Experience in incentive compensation management, sales performance management, or related financial software is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build productive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward shared delivery objectives.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities, combined with a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
