Full description
Ready to help shape the future of how businesses communicate with their customers?
As a Senior Product Manager at Retell AI, you’ll own critical product experiences powering millions of AI-driven conversations. Sitting at the intersection of AI, real-time voice technology, telephony, developer tools, and customer experience, you’ll turn complex technical capabilities into products that feel fast, reliable, intuitive, and remarkably human.
This isn’t a role where you simply manage a backlog. You’ll have end-to-end ownership—identifying customer problems, defining product strategy, shaping solutions with engineering and design, validating them with real users, and driving execution through launch and adoption.
You’ll work directly with customers and cross-functional teams to help establish the products and experiences that can become the industry standard for voice AI.
What You’ll Own• Drive product strategy and customer outcomes across key areas including voice agent behavior, onboarding, testing, automation, and platform capabilities.
- Build a deep understanding of customers. Join onboarding and support sessions, review real call transcripts and workflows, and speak directly with users to uncover pain points and opportunities.
- Turn customer problems into clear product direction by creating outcome-driven PRDs that define requirements, user journeys, solution concepts, tradeoffs, and success metrics.
- Own the roadmap from strategy through execution, prioritizing initiatives based on customer impact, adoption, business value, and long-term platform health.
- Partner deeply with engineering to design scalable solutions across technically complex areas including real-time audio, telephony, AI agent behavior, and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with design from the earliest stages, using problem framing, sketches, prototypes, and customer feedback to create intuitive end-to-end experiences.
- Bring the voice of the market into product decisions by evaluating competitors, emerging AI capabilities, customer expectations, and opportunities for differentiation.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Experience, and Customer Success to understand buying signals, objections, rollout challenges, and expansion opportunities.
- Validate before scaling. Test concepts through prototypes, betas, and rapid iterations to ensure we’re solving the right problems before making larger investments.
- Drive execution with urgency and clarity, establishing ownership, sequencing initiatives, removing ambiguity, and keeping teams aligned.
- Strengthen product operating rhythms through customer-backed roadmap planning, impact-driven prioritization, and transparent communication around decisions and tradeoffs.
You’ll Thrive Here If You...• Bring 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within B2B SaaS or product-led growth environments.
- Love working in fast-moving startup environments where priorities evolve quickly and ownership matters.
- Are genuinely customer-obsessed and prefer learning from real conversations, workflows, usage patterns, and customer feedback rather than assumptions.
- Can go deep with engineers and comfortably navigate highly technical products and complex systems.
- Have a strong track record of partnering across engineering, design, sales, customer success, and other business teams.
- Operate with a founder-level sense of ownership—you see a problem, take responsibility, and drive it toward an outcome.
- Are highly organized and execution-focused while remaining comfortable working through ambiguity.
- Know how to balance speed, customer value, technical tradeoffs, and long-term product quality.
- Have experience building AI products or are eager to go deep in the space.
- Bring voice AI, conversational AI, telephony, or real-time communications experience—a significant advantage.
