(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
The Business and Planning Analyst, Performing Arts, plays a key role in supporting different tasks and operations from Admin, Governance and Planning Team including market research, business and research data analysis.
You will be responsible for:
- supporting performing arts business research, from research design, arrangement of interviewing resources, research results analysis to reporting and communication of research findings;
- conducting analysis on performing arts research that helps the organisation to gain insights into the hirer experience and the PA venue’s wider impacts;
- supporting the project management of the research, including monitoring project programme, timeline and budget; and coordinating with relevant stakeholders / advisors through to completion;
- assisting in conducting market research on best practice of different operating models and supporting the implementation process;
- assisting in development and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators, dashboard aggregating, of qualitative analytics from research or other feedback channels;
- supporting the process of developing the KPI framework and preparing monthly KPI dashboard for management review;
- supporting in annual corporate and business planning process;
- providing analytical support including business case analysis and process improvement identification; and
- performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.
You should:
- possess a recognised university degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Arts Administration, Project Management or related disciplines;
- have at least 8 years working experience, with relevant experience as a research role with developing and executing research plans;
- experience in managing multiple organization-wide projects that require aligning of various departments’ priorities and requirements;
- experience coordinating internal, multi-stakeholder projects requiring research and analysis;
- a team player with good collaboration, communication and influencing skills;
- be proactive, result-oriented and self-motivated;
- be computer literacy in using MS Office, Project and Visio. Advanced knowledge in using Excel or other statistical application will be an advantage; and
- have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage.
