General Summary:

Manages and leads business and product market needs and translates those needs into required resource allocation and Product Marketing deliverables to meet the company’s business goals and objectives. Responsible for planning and integration in areas including branding, product marketing promotion campaigns and events, public relations, and digital marketing. Partners with members of the Product Marketing team, subordinate managers, and stakeholders to complete work that aligns with the company vision. Leverages knowledge of principles, best practices, and applicable market research to develop competitive product market strategies. Replacement Position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

OR Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience. OR High school Diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of Product Marketing, Marketing, Business, Engineering, Communications, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Senior Manager, Product Management supports the definition of product strategy and products, roadmap development, and market requirements for Qualcomm Datacenter Network Connectivity products. This role serves as the bridge between customers, engineering, sales, and executive leadership to ensure products address market needs, achieve business objectives, and maintain competitive differentiation.

What You'll Do

• Help establish a product roadmap by identifying products aligned with customer needs and Qualcomm's core capabilities
• Establish business case for the development of the products
• Prioritize product developments to maximize Qualcomm's share of market
• Develop market requirements documents
• Be a leading participant in the new product development teams as product owner
• Ensure quality collaterals to support the product
• Contribute to pricing of products
• Establish trusted technical-business relationships with key customer stakeholders
• Manage design-ins at key customers in conjunction with Sales
• Manage collection and dissemination of market and competitive insights

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or optical interconnects industry focused on PAM4 and/or Coherent DSPs or DSP-based optical modules
• Combination of technical and product management experience of 10 years or more.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced technical degree preferred. MBA would be an asset.
• Understanding of Datacenter and AI Datacenter architectures and trends impacting Electrical and Optical Connectivity
• Understanding of Connectivity Technologies and Ecosystem – Optical and Electrical
• Understanding of Networking and NPO/CPO technologies would be an asset

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$177,600.00 - $266,400.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
