Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

As a Junior Digital Product Designer, you will shape intuitive, human‑centered experiences that impact millions of customers and thousands of colleagues across H&M.  

You will: 

  • Work in a multi-functional digital product team with a product manager and engineers that focuses on a specific part of the H&M digital e-commerce experience. 
  • Be part of a wider team in the area including Senior and Lead Designers who will guide and support your growth.  
  • Conduct user research as part of product discovery to uncover user insights and opportunity spaces. 
  • Design digital experiences that are simple, accessible and user centered for our web, iOS and Android experiences, supported by AI tools, and following H&M digital brand guidelines by using our Design System “Fabric”.  
  • Conduct further user research to validate and refine design solutions. 
  • Work with the engineers in your product team during product delivery to ensure the final shipped experience delivers maximum value for our customers.  
  • Champion a user‑first mindset throughout the product development lifecycle. 
  • Stay on top of industry trends and integrate best practices into your work. 

This is a permanent position based in Mäster Samuelsgatan in central Stockholm with an expectation of working in the office at least 4 days per week. You will need to have a legal right to work in Sweden.  

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH 

You will be part of the Digital Unit, a mix of Product Managers, Digital Product Designers, Data Analysts and Commercial managers. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in Tech, Marketing, Creative Development, and Customer Service.   

WHO YOU ARE 

We are looking for people with… 

  • A relevant Bachelors level or YH design education.  
  • A few years of relevant employed work experience designing for digital platforms (web, apps, internal tools) in large‑scale environments. 
  • Solid interaction design and UI craft skills. 
  • A self‑directed delivery-orientated mindset. 
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to bring clarity in ambiguous situations. 
  • Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Miro, UserZoom and Jira. 

Desired experience but not required for this role… 

  • Masters level Design Education 
  • Experience designing for native iOS and Android applications. 
  • Experience using both qualitative and quantitative research methods. 
  • Experience working with Design Systems and system‑thinking in design. 
  • Experience leading design initiatives end‑to‑end. 
  • Deep knowledge of AI supported design.  
  • Experience working with payments or Fintech.
