What will you do?
Join a strategic Software Security platform initiative focused on Engineering Excellence, modern cloud-native solutions, and large-scale automation. You will help build and evolve internal products and services, contribute hands-on to software development, and drive high engineering standards across agile teams. The role combines software engineering, cloud architecture, platform ownership, and technical leadership with a strong focus on innovation, automation, reliability, and security.
Your tasks
- Design, develop and maintain scalable applications using Python and Node.js
- Build and enhance cloud-native services running on Google Cloud Platform
- Architect and manage solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine
- Design and implement event-driven architectures using Pub/Sub
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases for high-concurrency workloads
- Own the full lifecycle of services, ensuring resilience, observability and cost efficiency
- Design and manage OAuth2 and OpenID Connect integrations
- Drive engineering excellence, best practices and code quality across teams
- Identify opportunities for automation and eliminate manual operational activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Mentor engineers and actively share knowledge across teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Python and Django
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS
- Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Experience building event-driven architectures
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and query optimization
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect
- Experience with cloud-native application design and microservices
- Experience with observability, monitoring and operational excellence
- Knowledge of software architecture and engineering best practices
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 6 days a month
