Job Summary:
The Project Manager Supervisor, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will be a core member of the Project Management Office (PMO). In this position, you will lead, mentor, and empower a team of Project Managers, fostering best practices and operational excellence across the department. Simultaneously, you will personally take ownership of managing high-profile, strategic ICT integration projects for our enterprise and major account clients.

You will act as as a bridge between senior leadership, cross-functional engineering teams, strategic vendor partners, and key external stakeholders, you will drive business success, client satisfaction, and project portfolio performance.
Job Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & PMO Governance:
- Direct, mentor, and evaluate a team of Project Managers, conducting regular performance reviews and guiding their professional development.
- Optimize, standardize, and enforce PMO methodologies, frameworks, and tools across all ongoing technology projects.
- Balance team workload, manage resource allocation across projects, and serve as the main point of escalation for project risks and issues.
2. Major Accounts & Enterprise Project Management:
- Personally lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-complexity ICT & Systems Integration projects for strategic enterprise clients.
- Oversee full project lifecycles from initial scope definition, governance structure, and financial planning to execution, change control, and formal handover.
- Ensure complex multi-vendor and multi-technology solution deployments strictly adhere to timeline, budget, and quality benchmarks.
3. Stakeholder & Executive Relationship Management:
- Act as the senior Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and trusted advisor for C-level/Senior Executive client stakeholders.
- Build long-term client trust through transparent communication, executive steering committee presentations, and alignment with client business goals.
4. Portfolio Financials & Strategic Reporting:
- Oversee financial performance across assigned projects, ensuring accurate forecasting, margin protection, and cost control.
- Define and track key project management metrics and KPIs, reporting regularly to executive management on overall portfolio health, risks, and performance
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a strong plus).
Experience:
- At least 7+ years of total experience in Project Management within an Integrator, IT Services, Telecom, or Technology Solutions environment.
- At least 2+ years of proven experience leading, managing, or mentoring teams of project managers or technical project professionals.
- Demonstrated track record of directly delivering large-scale, enterprise-level ICT/IT infrastructure integration projects.
- Certifications: PMP® (PMI) or PRINCE2® Practitioner certification is required. Advanced certifications (Agile/Scrum Master, ITIL) are highly desirable.
- Technical & Tool Skills: Deep familiarity with enterprise PM tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceDesk) and advanced Microsoft 365 environment.
- Languages: Excellent command of both Greek and English (fluent verbal and written communication).
Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, executive communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and strategic decision-making abilities.
