Your role will involve overseeing and orchestrating projects that leverage digital solutions to optimize operations, enhance efficiency, and foster innovation in the oil and gas domain. - Prepare overall project implementation plans with milestones.
- Manage end-to-end project implementation.
- Manage the project using Agile methodology.
- Manage all the phases of the project implementation, including execution as per the project scope of work.
- Prepare all project documentation including the final project report.
- Prepare overall project implementation plans with milestones.
- Report to Head of Projects for all project progress and execution concerns.
- Prepare the Tender Package in cooperation with all the stakeholders to float the SOW/RFQ to the market.
- Receive/Review the technical proposals and conduct technical evaluation with all the assigned focal points.
- Develop detailed Cost/Benefit Analysis for the sub-contracting options and verses internal development.
- Plan and monitor the project execution during product development, as AIQ develops products on the cloud with a team of data scientists and software engineers.
- Organize and moderate team meetings, agile ceremonies, and steering committee.
- Identify and remove obstacles and dependencies, develop and maintain a risk register and action tracking system.
- Follow up with all stakeholders to close the actions and track and expedite delivery with appropriate tools, realistically estimating delivery times and managing expectations.
- Collect and evaluate data about team productivity.
- Coordinate releases across multiple teams.
- Plan for team/resource requirements, resource management for current and future projects, and provide the actual resource allocation for costing.
- Plan and manage the project budget CAPEX and OPEX.
- Develops department’s operational plans and budget requirements with respect to people, operations, and technology.
- Participate in the development and regular reviews of teamwork and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Coordinate and communicate project progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes, capture lessons learnt and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the development of policies, processes, procedures, and systems in line with best practices and the company Code of Practices.
- Propose improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards.
- Manage Internal and External audits of the department to ensure timely actions and closure of audit recommendations.
- Develop detailed scope of work with ADNOC Stakeholders and Technology providers.
- Review the SOW with client focal points and finalize the project SOW.
- Work closely with vendors and ensure the projects are delivered as per the schedule and budget
- Provide monthly progress reports, forecast reports, and billing to the finance team

Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in customer support and operations projects in technology-related projects for Oil & Gas and Energy Industry.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills:
- At least 12 years of experience in project management preferential with experience in Oil & Gas industry (ADNOC prior experience is preferred).
- Completion of at least 3 large-scale project implementations, especially for the Oil and Gas and energy industries.
- Expert in SLDC and technology projects
- Prior experience of handling AI and Big Data projects.
- Expert and evangelist of multiple Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Expert user of MS Project, Jira or comparable.
- Basic understanding of the cloud computing technology stack.
- Basic understanding of web-based applications.
- Candidates who have experience with Data Management and Artificial Intelligence solutions will be preferred.
