We are seeking a talented individual to join our Business Development team at Marsh Takaful Brokers. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
- Drive business development activities by identifying, prospecting and developing new business opportunities within the General Insurance market
- Schedule and conduct sales calls, presentations and business discussions with prospective clients, working toward agreed sales and business development targets
- Leverage existing network, account leads and targeted market research to build a healthy pipeline prospective business opportunity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients and support the conversion of opportunities into new business
- Work closely with Team Leaders and senior colleagues throughout the business development process, including client meetings, business pitches and partnership opportunities
- Support the preparation of proposals, due diligence reports and presentations, incorporating relevant qualitative and quantitative assessments
- Developed targeted marketing and business development plans to relevant offerings, prospects and market segments
- Participate in relevant professional organization, conferences and industry events to strengthen professional networks and represent the Company
What you need to have:
- A degree holder from any field
- 3-7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the General Insurance broking industry
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in business development, sales and prospecting with direct involvement in developing and pursuing business opportunities.
- Strong sales, relationship management, and prospecting capabilities
- Good knowledge of General Insurance products and services
- An established professional network and existing client relationships within the General Insurance market would be highly advantageous
- Ability to independently manage business development activities while collaborating effectively with senior colleagues and Team Leader
