POSITION SUMMARY

MedPro Data Services Analysts are a part of the MedPro Compliance Advisory’s Reporting Team. The team is primarily responsible for new customer implementations, data services and ongoing customer support. Data Service Analysts are responsible for data collection, matching, remediation, and report creation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn and maintain expertise in the business and compliance requirements of Aggregate Spend
  • Learn and maintain expertise in the MedPro ComplianceReportingID application
  • Learn and utilize the SQL language to access the Aggregate Spend databases
  • Participate as needed in customer implementation and support meetings
  • Work with customer data files, application screens, and system reports
  • Perform outsourced remediation work for clients based on contractual needs
  • Perform data matching consistent with customer matching-criteria
  • Analyze customer data, offer suggestions, and assist with correction and configuration changes as needed
  • Generation and review of compliance reports
  • Compile reporting analytics
  • Guide customers through annual reporting seasons for successful completion
  • Configure customer environments to align with individual business needs
  • Provide functional and technical support for customers as needed
  • Interface with other MedPro teams to resolve customer issues and inquiries
  • Collaborate with other MedPro functions on system enhancements and bug fixes
  • Serve in one or more additional roles supporting team efforts beyond data services

Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree required in any discipline; preferably in quantitative and analytic coursework

JOB QUALIFICATONS

  • Strong analytical, decision-making skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills - efficiently organize multiple task responsibilities to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to perform in a customer-facing role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly manipulating data using Excel
  • Life Sciences industry experience regarding HCP and HCO data is preferred
  • Desire to solve problems, innovate, gather facts and understanding and move fast
  • Ability to work in a highly interactive environment with a diverse team of colleagues
  • High computer literacy and ability to learn new skills, techniques, software, and processes
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality regarding sensitive customer, prospect, or vendor information

YEARS’ EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of post-collegiate job experience
  • 2+ years data experience
  • Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry experience is a plus

TECHNOLOGY/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • JIRA/Confluence
  • SQL

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • The individual is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen and extensive reading. The individual in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. The individual must be able to remain in a stationary position 70% of the time.
