The Shift Supervisor ensures the safety, well-being, and therapeutic support of children in Hope Network Children’s Residential Services. This role provides shift leadership and oversight, ensuring treatment goals, daily care needs, and program expectations are met using a trauma-informed approach. Shift Supervisors model positive relationships, provide supervision and interventions, support permanency and skill development, and mentor Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) while upholding Hope Network and DART standards.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Ensure children’s safety and well-being.
- Provide floor coverage and direct care as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance.
- Support individualized care and treatment goals.

What You Bring
Preferred:
- High School Diploma + 4 years of childcare institution (CCI)
- 2 years of college + 3 years of CCI
- Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years of CCI
Required:
- Must pass Michigan Central Registry Clearance and any applicable out-of-state clearances; required annually.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass background checks and fingerprints
- Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
