Position Summary

The Systems Analyst provides enterprise logistics systems integration, data governance, automation, and business process improvement support to AMC and Army logistics stakeholders. The position bridges operational logistics requirements and information technology solutions by integrating data across multiple Army logistics systems, improving visibility of materiel assets, and supporting informed decision-making through system analysis and process automation.

The work for this position shall be performed onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.

Duties & Responsibilities

The essential and specific functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Analyze logistics business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and technology integration.
  • Support integration and synchronization of data across GCSS-A, AESIP, DST, cQUIP, and other logistics information systems.
  • Map and reconcile logistics data to Army authoritative data repositories and enterprise systems.
  • Assess system performance, data quality, and information management processes.
  • Develop business process documentation, workflows, functional requirements, and system recommendations.
  • Support data governance initiatives and enterprise logistics reporting activities.
  • Identify data discrepancies, system integration issues, and process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and Integrated Planning Teams (IPTs) supporting modernization and logistics transformation efforts.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, analytical products, and executive briefings.
  • Support implementation of emerging logistics technologies and information management capabilities.
  • Collaborate with logistics, IT, and operational stakeholders to support enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Formal Army logistics training and experience supporting Army logistics operations.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Brigade-level logistics experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years supporting ACOM, ASCC, Theater Army, or HQDA organizations.
  • Experience utilizing AESIP, DST, cQUIP, GCSS-A, and related Army logistics systems.
  • Experience with data management, systems integration, workflow analysis, and data mapping.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret security clearance.
