Your New Role

AustralianSuper is evolving the way we provide simple advice to members, making it easier for more members to access timely, personalised support when they need it. As part of this work, we’re beginning a transformation of our Simple Advice service – moving towards a more connected model that combines digital experiences with human support and builds more capability within the Fund over time.

This role will support the Financial Advice stream for our new financial advice operation and AFSL – connecting people, process, governance and implementation between the operating company and the trustee.

Key responsibilities will include the development of detailed business requirements, creation of process models, and support for project transition activities as the new team is stood up. The role will also contribute to workforce management planning, support change and transition initiatives, support business testing activities, and support in post-implementation and hyper care activities.

This is a contract role until 30 June 2027 ideally located in Melbourne.

What You’ll Need

  • Considerable business analysis experience within a financial advice/planning environment with superannuation background ideal;
  • Exposure to working in various project environments and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and a hybrid of both;
  • Ability to consistently write requirements and/or user stories of high quality and with great attention to detail;
  • Considerable experience in developing, organising, prioritising, verifying, and validating requirements;
  • An engaging workshop style and a strong grasp of facilitation techniques;
  • Excellent people skills and a collaborative approach to work;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to explain in detail the differences between Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Constraints;
  • Able to plan and provide clear business analysis effort planning and estimates to help support project planning and timelines;
  • Able to independently work through problems and present recommendations to stakeholders;
  • A relevant tertiary degree.
