The Opportunity
We are building AI agents that handle the marketing supply chain, the path a campaign takes from brief to launch. As a Machine learning engineer, you will build and ship core parts of the agent system, including tool integrations, agent workflows, retrieval, and the data and evaluation pipelines that keep agents fast and reliable in production. You will work on well-scoped problems with real ownership and learn quickly alongside a senior team.
What you'll do
- Build and improve parts of our LLM-based agent system, including tool integrations, prompt and agent workflows, structured outputs, and retrieval.
- Add and refine agent capabilities such as tool use, orchestration steps, and grounding on well-scoped problems.
- Help build evaluation systems and run experiments to measure and improve how well the agents work.
- Build the data and infrastructure that keep agents fast, observable, and reliable in production.
- Work with senior engineers, product, and design, and move quickly.
What you need to succeed
- Two to four years of engineering experience with hands-on work building LLM-based applications or features. Strong recent graduates with serious AI projects will also be considered.
- Solid software engineering fundamentals in Python, data structures, and algorithms, and a habit of writing clean code that ships.
- Working knowledge of common LLM patterns, including prompting, tool and function calling, retrieval-augmented generation, and structured outputs.
- A bias toward building, measuring, and iterating, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Experience connecting LLMs to outside tools and APIs to ship complete features.
Nice to have
- Exposure to agent and orchestration frameworks and common agent design patterns.
- Experience building evaluation or test systems for LLM features.
- Side projects, hackathon results, or open-source work in AI software.
- Exposure to marketing, creative, or content technology.
- A BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
About the team
This is a new team inside Adobe's GenAI organization, building AI agents for the marketing supply chain. Today, getting a campaign from brief to launch means a long series of manual handoffs: briefing, creative production, asset management, review, brand and compliance checks, localization, publishing, and performance analysis. Our agents take on that work so people can focus on strategy instead of running every step by hand.
The team is small and senior, the products reach a large customer base, and the work is hands-on and applied. We move quickly and we care about the quality of what we ship.
