Job Description:

At SMG, we turn our patented DAFUZ system to create award winning titles including LEGO Party! Moving Out, Thumb Drift, and One More Line.  We love building fun first games and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior QA Tester to join us on a 1-year fixed term contract. This role offers flexible, project-based work, testing various software applications. We offer remote working, but have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide you could work from depending on you having full Australian working rights.

Core responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases across various software applications and platforms
  • Create clear, detailed test cases based on project requirements
  • Document and report bugs using JIRA, including steps to reproduce, expected results
  • Collaborate remotely with development teams to verify bug fixes
  • Adapt to different project requirements and maintain testing documentation

A bit about you:

  • An understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Experience with JIRA or similar bug tracking systems
