Job Title: US - Business Intelligence AnalystJob DescriptionThe Business Intelligence Analyst develops, maintains, and improves data solutions that support operational decision-making within a plant environment. This role designs and manages datasets, builds and optimizes Power BI dashboards and reports, ensures data accuracy, and identifies opportunities to improve business processes through data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for plant leadership and operational teams.

  • Build, manage, and maintain datasets from multiple data sources, including multiple ERP systems, to support reporting and data-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with plant management and department leaders to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
  • Create automated reporting solutions that reduce manual reporting efforts and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms and data solutions.
  • Document reporting processes, data definitions, and dashboard functionality to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, reporting errors, and performance problems in a timely manner.
  • Continuously analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving business processes and operational performance.

Essential Skills• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Microsoft Power BI development and administration.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience building data models, datasets, and automated reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.
  • Proficiency working with SQL databases and writing SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications• Minimum 1 year of experience performing data analysis in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience integrating data from multiple ERP systems into cohesive datasets.
  • Experience documenting data processes, definitions, and reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to define reporting needs.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and leveraging data to enhance operational efficiency.

Work EnvironmentThis role is fully on site in Beltsville, MD, within a plant-based operational environment. The position works closely with plant leadership and operational teams, using tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL databases, and Microsoft Excel on a daily basis. The work setting emphasizes collaboration with various departments, timely support of production and operational decision-making, and hands-on engagement with real-time and historical plant data.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Beltsville, MD.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
