About the role
Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and analytical support to the organization. This role collects, analyzes, and interprets data from multiple business systems to support decision-making, performance monitoring, and strategic initiatives. The position works closely with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and other functions to identify trends, improve data visibility, and deliver actionable recommendations that drive business performance.Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple business systems and data sources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Operations, Finance, and other functions to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Design and maintain data models, KPIs, and performance metrics to monitor business performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms and databases.
- Support the automation and optimization of reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational initiatives.
- Support data governance initiatives and promote best practices in data management and analytics.
Skills & Qualifications
- Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least 2-3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
