About the Role

Due to continued growth across the region, Babcock is seeking a Data Analyst to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about data, eager to build their analytical capability, and looking to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and supportive environment. As a full-time, permanent position, we offer flexibility on work location across Australia.

In this role, you will help drive business performance by transforming data into meaningful insights that support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you will gather and analyse data, identify trends and opportunities, and develop reporting solutions that enable teams to achieve their objectives. From developing automated workflows and reporting tools within the Microsoft 365 environment to ensuring data is managed securely and in line with governance requirements, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of data and business improvement activities. Working alongside internal teams, customers, and external partners, you'll contribute to projects and change initiatives while building valuable experience across a diverse and growing organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and curious analyst to develop their skills, work on impactful programs, and be part of a team that uses data to drive better business outcomes.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Demonstrated experience with Power BI, Report Builder, Service, Microsoft Fabric, SQL and Query.
  • Knowledge of MS applications such as Power BI, Power Queries, VBA in Excel and Access.
  • Experience using SharePoint forms and workflows (Nintex and Power Automate)
  • Experience in delivering data insights to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Science or equivalent experience.
