Job Description The accounting team is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, the candidate will assist in the preparation of all quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS and the company’s internal control policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of the company’s timely filings with the SEC, and ensure compliance with SEC rules and regulations, as applicable
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated and individual standalone financial statements on an annual and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate across departments to obtain information supporting for annual and quarterly disclosures
  • Support internal and external audits, including quarterly reviews and annual audits, ensuring full compliance with internal control frameworks
  • Provides support for Finance and Treasury teams related to debt and tax-equity compliance
  • Assists in the development and implementation of process improvements related to reporting, consolidation, and/or month-end close reporting
  • Review other internal or external documents for accuracy and consistency
  • Assist in development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Actively participatein other ad hoc projects as they arise

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Reporting experience with knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or actively pursuing
  • Experience in the renewable energy or infrastructure sector
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Proactive problem-solver who is comfortable taking initiative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; SAP and Workiva experience a plus
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work extended hours as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years financial reporting and/or public accounting experience
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting research and drafting accounting memos and policies
  • IFRS experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
