Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, positioning Rolls-Royce SMR at the forefront of transforming the future of low-carbon energy.

The Programme Management Directorate is central to turning our ambition into reality. Working across complex engineering programmes, the team drives delivery, collaboration and innovation, ensuring critical milestones are achieved safely, efficiently and at pace.

In this context, we are looking for a Project Manager to support our Senior Project Managers and Programme Managers in delivering key projects and work packages across the business. This is a highly visible role that will help shape the successful delivery of one of the UK's most exciting engineering and energy programmes.

We'll need you to:

  • Managing project schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholder engagement to maintain delivery momentum
  • Monitoring performance, identifying issues and driving effective resolutions and mitigations
  • Embedding best practice, capturing lessons learned and continuously improving project delivery processes

As you can see, this is a pivotal role within our programme delivery organisation, and you'll bring a collaborative mindset, commercial awareness and the confidence to influence stakeholders at every level.

We're particularly interested in hearing from people with:

  • A degree in engineering, science, project management or a related discipline, and/or significant experience delivering complex projects
  • A project management qualification such as APM PMQ or equivalent, or demonstrable experience managing complex engineering projects
  • Experience delivering large, multi-disciplinary projects involving schedule, budget, risk and change management
  • Knowledge of project management tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, Excel, Power BI or Power Apps, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders

We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements and would expect you to regularly attend one of our Rolls-Royce SMR locations as required, with occasional travel to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
