Business Strategy AnalystThe Opportunity:  As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will help shape the growth and direction of the National Security Sector’s (NSS) Cyber Department of War Account. You will conduct strategic analysis, evaluate market and competitive dynamics, and convert insights into actionable recommendations. You will work in partnership with senior leaders, capture teams, finance, and delivery partners to drive data informed decisions that strengthen our portfolio and guide investment and pipeline priorities. Your work will directly inform strategic choices and influence how the sector positions itself for future mission needs.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Perform strategy analyses, including market sizing, whitespace assessments, competitive and partner scans, and portfolio performance evaluations to inform and help prioritize account priorities.
  • Develop and mature NSS data strategy, including KPIs, data governance standards, and repeatable analytic products, such as dashboards and scorecards.
  • Deliver executive‑ready analysis, insights, and narratives that guide senior‑level decision‑making on pursuits, capabilities, and investments.
  • Partner with capture, BD, and finance teams to prioritize pipeline opportunities and align analytic support to win strategies.
  • Advance automation and analytics tooling using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Python or R.
  • Mentor junior analysts, establishing work plans, reviewing deliverables, and supporting career development.
  • Assess and monitor defense sector budget signals, programmatic, policy developments, and competitive shifts to anticipate market demand.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across leadership, finance, delivery, and talent to maintain alignment on strategic objectives and performance measures.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, market or competitive intelligence, corporate strategy, or business analytics
  • Experience leading complex analytic workstreams and delivering strategic recommendations to senior leaders
  • Experience with AI tools for research and content creation, including visualizations
  • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or national security clients
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, growth, or sales operations
  • Experience building KPI frameworks, data governance processes, or analytic automation
  • Experience with cloud analytics environments, such as Azure or AWS
  • Experience developing dashboards or analytic products using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
  • Ability to synthesize data and communicate insights through clear, concise executive‑level writing and briefings
  • Master’s degree preferred

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
