Job Description

About the role:

Avery Dennison is seeking a Sr. Product Manager - Building & Construction to join our Performance Tapes business in North America (PTNA). In this role, you will be responsible for planning and leading the Building and Construction P&L and crafting and driving the commercial strategy for this top growth segment. The successful candidate will provide vision and direction to the organization and drive execution to achieve the goals for the segment. We are looking for an individual that fits in well with our entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about bold growth. You will report to the Marketing Director, Performance Tapes NA.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is based on-site/hybrid out of our Painesville, Ohio location. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide vision and strategy to a high value growth segment with an advanced product portfolio.
  • Develop strategic and annual operating plans and lead efforts of a cross-functional team to meet evolving customer and market needs.
  • Responsible for managing the P&L for a select product portfolio and developing and executing pricing strategies for assigned products to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Implement and execute a portfolio management approach to assigned products to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Work closely with R&D, technical support, sales, and supply chain teams to develop, launch, and support new products and service programs in designated markets.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Engineering undergraduate degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading a technical product line with demonstrated growth and performance or related commercial experience in a B2B environment.
  • Strong financial and business insight with a consistent track record of results and P&L management experience.
  • Demonstrated project leadership, critical thinking, and excellent analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to generate support and excitement among an informal, cross-functional team in a matrixed organization.

Additional Information

Pay Transparency:

The salary range for this position is $128,550 - $191,968 / year.

The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
