While your core role will focus on Cybersecurity, you’ll also have the opportunity to support clients across different CSD competency areas, including Conduct Risk, Financial Crime and PMO. This will help you build a broader consulting delivery skillset and develop the future-focussed skills needed to succeed in a digitally enabled future.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • We want you to work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and providing support where required
  • You will need to regularly update senior team members on your progress
  • You will develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, while building strong relationships internally within Consulting Service Delivery and other teams in EY
  • You will need to understand and maintain client confidentiality and always ensure their data security
  • We are committed to your professional development so you will have access to a wide variety of learning tools and training programmes and areas of development will be mapped out with your counsellor
  • Outside of your day-to-day role, you will be expected to contribute to people initiatives like training and buddying new team members

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Foundational understanding of one or more Cybersecurity disciplines, such as cyber risk and resilience, information security governance, data protection, identity and access management, third-party risk management, IT controls or security operations
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver work to agreed deadlines
  • Attention to detail and the ability to deliver high quality work products
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with project information, data and management reporting
  • Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm to develop digital skills and embrace emerging technologies, automation, AI and data-driven ways of working
  • Creativity and good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, while also taking ownership of assigned tasks when required
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new challenges, projects and client requirements
  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
  • Understanding of client confidentiality, data security and the importance of handling information appropriately
  • Flexibility to develop experience and knowledge outside of your original Cybersecurity skillset to build a diverse delivery capability

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Relevant Cybersecurity, technology risk, IT controls, IT audit, information security, or related professional experience
  • Experience supporting teams to deliver work in line with agreed processes, deadlines and quality expectations
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, including building capability in digital tools, automation, AI and emerging technologies that enhance delivery effectiveness and client value
  • Enthusiasm to develop experience across broader CSD solution areas and support different types of Consulting delivery work
