Job Description

  

Teledyne LeCroy is an innovative technology company that designs and manufactures oscilloscopes and other test and measurement instruments.  Our service team consists of passionate, intelligent and experienced engineers and technicians who work on a wide range of test and measurement products. If you are passionate about electronics design, calibration and repair then this is the place for you!

Teledyne LeCroy is looking for a Service Support Engineer to support current and discontinued products for repair, troubleshooting, technical document creation, service manual and performance procedure creation and technical support for our global service team. 

If you join us, we will expect you to:

  • View and use CAD files and schematics for printed circuit boards containing analog circuits, digital circuits, data convertors, RF amplifiers, power supplies, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and high-speed transmission lines to assist in debug and rework of these boards
  • Use your knowledge of signals and systems to validate, troubleshoot and create performance verification procedures
  • Oversee and Maintain RF generators, Pulse Generators and other RF equipment associated with product performance verification
  • Work with a global cross-disciplinary team (service managers, technicians, customer service representatives, operations, R&D engineers) to answer technical questions about product design, test, and available upgrades
  • Help organize inhouse and field service training for new products
  • Maintain service documents and all technical aspects of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 certification ensuring all procedures are followed and records are retained
  • Travel worldwide to Service Centers in Germany, Israel, India, Japan, Taiwan, China and South Korea

​Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years or more relevant work experience
  • Ability to understand circuits in the frequency and time domain
  • Knowledge of high-speed analog design, signal integrity, transmission lines, RF and microwave concepts
  • The use of test equipment - especially Digital Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, RF generators, Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers
  • Strong communication skills
  • US citizenship

Salary Range:

$77,900.00-$103,800.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
