We are looking for an organized, proactive, and collaborative Project Manager to lead our creative workflows at Moomin Characters. In this role, you will work closely with the Creative Director to make creative visions into functioning project plans and bridge the gap between business goals and the design team. You will ensure that our design projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end design project lifecycles from brief to final delivery.
  • Manage design resources and timelines effectively.
  • Act as the point of contact between other teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and improve internal design processes and documentation.
  • Identify potential project bottlenecks early and implement creative solutions to keep timelines on track.
  • Take full ownership of project delivery, driving the teams forward with clear authority and direction.

What we are looking for in an applicant:

Core emotional skills:

  • Optimism & warmth - genuine kindness, thoughtfulness, and a sense that the glass is always at least half full
  • Intelligence - an insatiable curiosity to learn for the sake of learning
  • Work ethic - a natural tendency to do something as well as it can possibly be done
  • Empathy - an awareness of, care for, and connection to how others feel and how your actions make others feel
  • Self awareness and integrity - an understanding of what makes you tick and a natural inclination to be accountable for doing the right thing with honesty and superb judgement
  • Good communication skills - the ability to get your message across and be understood

Technical skills:

  • 3+ years of project management experience specifically within design or creative environments
  • Experience successfully leading and executing projects with clear authority
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Proficiency in English and Finnish (other languages, such as Swedish, are an asset).

Please note that this position is based in Helsinki, with the option to work from home one day per week (four days in the office). We cannot offer full remote work, relocation assistance, or sponsorship for work visas.

We offer:

  • A central role in our creative team, with the opportunity to influence how we plan, collaborate, and deliver creative work.
  • Genuine ownership and the trust to make decisions and drive projects forward.
  • Close collaboration with the Creative Director and talented colleagues across different disciplines.
  • A supportive team that enjoys working together and supporting each other.
  • Benefits include a culture and sports benefit, lunch card, phone and phone subscription, access to a private on-site gym for employees, occupational healthcare, and a cottage in Pellinki. Additional benefits are available after the end of the trial period.
