Senior React Native Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Engineer to help build and scale innovative mobile banking and payments products. Accountabilities:

• Lead the implementation and delivery of major mobile product features, from technical design through release and ongoing support.

• Drive improvements in code quality, architecture, design patterns, and engineering practices across the mobile application ecosystem.

• Take end-to-end ownership of the features you build, ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and customer experience.

• Conduct code reviews, promote testing best practices, and contribute to a strong quality and automation culture.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused mobile experiences.

• Help define technical direction and contribute to architecture decisions for scalable React Native applications.

• Optimize application performance and ensure smooth mobile experiences across different devices and platforms.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including CI/CD practices, release processes, and development workflows.

• Stay current with mobile technology trends and contribute knowledge of the React Native ecosystem to the wider engineering team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and delivering mobile applications using React Native.

• Strong software engineering background with experience developing high-quality, production-level mobile products.

• Demonstrated ability to lead technical improvements, define coding standards, and influence engineering practices.

• Experience owning and delivering complex features and products from concept to deployment.

• Hands-on experience with native iOS and/or Android development environments, including app store release processes.

• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern testing and quality practices.

• Experience working within product-driven teams focused on delivering highly performant applications.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills with a strong understanding of customer and business needs.

• Deep knowledge of software engineering best practices and the React Native technology landscape.

• Exposure to CI pipelines, continuous delivery practices, AWS, event-driven architectures, or CQRS-based systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with Apple and Android UX guidelines is preferred.

• Experience in payments, banking, or financial technology environments is an advantage.
