The Opportunity:
The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that improve marketing performance and support business growth to the BMP segment. Working closely with marketing stakeholders, this role translates marketing strategy, funnel objectives, and business requirements into reporting, dashboards, and analytical capabilities that enable data-driven decision-making. Experience within a life sciences, healthcare, scientific, or other B2B environment is preferred.
REQUIRED CAPABILITIES/COMPETENCIES
- Experience in marketing analytics, attribution modelling, funnel analysis, and campaign performance measurement.
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand objectives and define reporting and measurement needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable dashboards, KPIs, and insights.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Analyse data from CRM, marketing automation, web, social, and advertising platforms.
- Provide recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Support testing and optimisation initiatives, including A/B testing and audience segmentation.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Build scalable reporting frameworks and measurement standards.
- Communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay current on marketing analytics best practices and emerging technologies.
- Support a data-driven marketing culture through stakeholder enablement and actionable insights.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, scientific, or B2B environments preferred.
- Understanding of marketing principles and funnel metrics
- Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and Power BI
- Experience with marketing analytics tools and techniques, including web analytics, social media analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools
- Proven ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience working with remote and global teammates
- Comfortable navigating and influencing in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate strong desire to learn and grow
