About Janus Digital

Janus Digital ™ is the agentic AI platform that runs the world's real assets. It is built on 15+ years of foundational R&D, 76 granted patents and over $100M invested, and is live across 10,000+ building datasets in 253 cities and 10+ asset classes — offices, hotels, malls, hospitals, data centres and more. We work on an outcome-based model: we earn on the verified value the platform creates. From Singapore we are scaling that model across property managers, hotel operators and mall administrators in South-East Asia and beyond.

The Opportunity

You are the building domain expert who decides what the platform actually does for each client. You assess a building's real operating conditions, design the solution, configure the platform yourself, and then prove the outcome against the KPIs you set. Alongside delivery, you build the capability of the Singapore team and our ecosystem partners so consulting capacity can grow without diluting quality. This is a hands-on domain role for someone who knows how buildings genuinely run, not a demo seat.

What You'll Do

  • Assess each client's building operations end to end — MEP system health and integration status, BMS/IBMS utilisation, facility management workflows, staffing model, energy consumption patterns and operational pain points — and identify where the platform delivers the highest-impact improvement.
  • Design the tailored solution: select the right platform modules across asset and risk management, predictive maintenance, energy and carbon optimisation, autonomous operations control and data analytics, then set the delivery scope, quantified KPI targets and implementation prerequisites.
  • Configure the platform yourself — organisational hierarchy and role-based access, asset classification trees and spatial ledgers, FMEA-based risk rule engines, planned and ad-hoc maintenance workflows, energy and carbon models, sub-metering structures, and autonomous operation parameters such as demand schedules, temperature and CO2 targets and equipment control strategies.
  • Validate that IoT data feeds and BMS integrations map correctly to the configured business logic, working alongside the digitalisation delivery team so dashboards, alerts and decision engines reflect the building's real operational state.
  • Design and lead UAT, then monitor trial operation against the KPIs set at design — energy reduction, equipment availability, risk detection accuracy, maintenance efficiency — and report actual results against projected outcomes before a clean handover to the client's operations team.
  • Train client teams, internal consultants and ecosystem partners on building assessment methodology, solution design and platform configuration, and keep the team's assessment templates, configuration playbooks and case-study library current.
  • Research and maintain Singapore and regional building standards and compliance frameworks — BCA Green Mark, energy efficiency codes, indoor air quality and fire safety codes, ESG reporting — map them to platform capability, and channel configuration limitations and feature gaps back to the global product team.

What You'll Bring

MUST-HAVES

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in building operations, facility management, smart building solution design or building technology implementation.
  • Deep, practical understanding of building MEP systems — HVAC, chiller plants, air handling units, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, security and building automation/DDC controllers — and how they behave in real operating conditions.
  • Building energy management expertise — HVAC optimisation strategies, lighting control, demand management, sub-metering, energy budgeting and carbon accounting — with the judgement to set realistic energy reduction targets by building type, climate and operational profile.
  • Proven ability to translate client operational requirements into tailored platform configurations, with experience configuring enterprise software for facility management, asset management or building operations — organisational structures, asset hierarchies, workflow rules, threshold settings and reporting models.
  • Strong stakeholder management — conducting building operations assessments, facilitating requirements workshops with facility management teams, presenting technically grounded solution designs, and managing client expectations through configuration, testing and outcome validation.

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Ability to transfer deep domain knowledge to team members and partner organisations through hands-on training, structured knowledge-sharing and on-project mentorship, with experience coaching or training technical teams in a professional setting.
  • Professional English fluency (mandatory). Mandarin is a strong advantage for regional client and partner work.
  • Direct experience inside a property management company, hotel operations group or facility management organisation — firsthand understanding of the operational realities and decision-making of our target clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or Facilities), Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with building management or smart building platforms — Siemens Desigo CC, Honeywell Forge, Schneider EcoStruxure, Johnson Controls OpenBlue or IBM Maximo — as a user, implementer or consultant.
  • Working familiarity with BIM tools (Revit) and how physical building data translates into structured digital models.
  • Existing knowledge of BCA Green Mark, Singapore building and energy efficiency codes, and ESG reporting requirements relevant to intelligent building deployments.
  • Project management certification — PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent — demonstrating structured delivery expertise

Why Join Janus Digital
