About the Role
As a Business Strategy Analyst at Brandlight, you will be a force multiplier for the leadership team, owning the company’s most consequential strategic questions and turning them into decisions, action, and measurable results. You’ll work across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and R&D, moving from ambiguous problem statements to rigorous analysis, clear recommendations, and execution that changes how the company operates.
This is not a reporting or support role. You will help shape how Brandlight scales: evaluating growth opportunities, improving core operating rhythms, clarifying company priorities, and building the systems that let teams move faster. You’ll have the autonomy to challenge assumptions, work with incomplete information, and take end-to-end ownership, from problem definition to implementation and impact.
This role is for a strategic, analytical operator who thrives in ambiguity and combines structured thinking with a bias for action.
You will turn complex data into clear insights that strengthen client engagements, uncover growth opportunities, support expansion across existing accounts, and contribute to go-to-market initiatives. You will also bring client and market insights back to Product, helping shape the priorities and capabilities that create more value for customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact strategic and operational projects across the business, from initial problem definition through implementation.
- Structure complex and ambiguous business questions into clear workstreams, analyses, and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses and translate them into client delivery.
- Build business cases, modeling, market assessments, and executive-level presentations.
- Translate data and insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership and clients.
- Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and R&D to improve processes and drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Support strategic planning, market expansion, and company-wide decision-making.
- Develop scalable frameworks, processes, and tools to enable execution.
- Monitor key initiative results and ensure recommendations translate into measurable impact.
- Contribute to customer, market, and competitive research to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
- Identify and assess opportunities for expansion.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, business analysis, or a similarly analytical, high-ownership role.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to bring structure to complex, ambiguous challenges.
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including experience with business cases and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to synthesize rigorous analysis into clear, cohesive, decision-ready visuals and executive narratives.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and AI tools, with a builder mindset that accelerates analysis, decision-making, and execution.
- Ability to move seamlessly between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience leading client-facing engagements is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, or another analytical field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, with the ability to present complex analyses and create clear, compelling executive-level materials.
