About the role

Assists the National Sales staff in proposal fulfillment and general sales operation activities. Works closely with the sales, operations, and underwriting areas to gather client and company level information to help assess the effectiveness of our business. Primarily responsible for sales reporting, analysis, and updating sales management tracking tools.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for updating proposal tracking system. As part of the duties for this role the individual will be responsible for reaching out to internal and external business partners to obtain and/or clarify information related to the case proposal.
  • Assist with Sales Reporting-Persistency Letters, Projected Premium Reports, and Producer Reports.
  • Produce standard and custom client and broker level reports, utilizing Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Insights, and Word
  • Utilize various internal and external data sources to produce reports and perform custom data mining to identify information related to case participation, sales trends, and various financial information.
  • Formulate key findings and recommendations to management based on data analysis
  • Maintaining Sales Compensation contracts and special case agreements.
  • Managing RSX marketing expenses and invoices.
  • Maintaining list of at risk and terminated clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or two or more years of experience in reporting or data management.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to examine data for meaningful relationships.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, summarize data, translate data into a user-friendly report, run statistical testing on the data to determine significance and relationships within the data, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advanced use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats, including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Well organized to effectively plan and follow-through with any task assigned.
  • Sound judgment and ability make decisions based on knowledge and previous experience.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience.
  • Experience supporting a sales environment.
  • Experience administering CRM applications (Saleforce.com).
  • Voluntary/ Worksite and/or Group marketplace experience.
  • Tableau experience.
