Our Exciting Opportunity:

Senior Operations & Data Analyst — Central Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Austin, Texas

This is an on-site, hybrid opportunity. This is not a remote work opportunity.

Ericsson Silicon is scaling its custom ASIC capabilities across 5G Advanced and 6G. Its Central Engineering organization provides the design methodology, tools, and infrastructure that all silicon programs depend on. The Strategy & Operations (StrOps) team keeps the right capabilities, resources, and investments in place across engineering sections. We are looking for a seasoned Operations & Data Analyst to develop and own the team’s operational analytics capability, turning operational and financial inputs into trusted dashboards, forecasts, scenario models, and recommendations that guide resourcing and multi-million-dollar investment decisions across the organization. What You WIll Do:

  • Define operational KPIs and build leadership dashboards on approved reporting platforms.
  • Build and automate the data models and pipelines behind the dashboards.
  • Review and redesign data collection and review processes to make execution more predictable.
  • Produce resource, headcount, and spend forecasts, analyze actuals against the forecasts and propose strategies to optimize deliveries.
  • Track capital and operating spend (Capex/Opex) against plan, explain variances, and produce total cost of ownership analyses for investment decisions.
  • Own the operational cadence for business reviews, lead execution tracking against key priorities, and strengthen governance and compliance.
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional risks with accountable leaders.
  • Turn various analyses into executive-ready insight.

What You WIll Bring:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Several years of in-industry experience in operations, data or business analysis, or program operations, ideally in semiconductor, hardware, or other complex technology-development environments.
  • Track record building KPIs, dashboards, and reporting used by senior leadership, with hands-on proficiency in a visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau and a familiarity with applying AI to visualization and operational analysis.
  • Experience with budgets, variance analysis, and forecasting.
  • Ability to turn inconsistent, multi-source inputs into clear, trustworthy conclusions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvements without direct authority.
  • Clear, concise communication across engineering, finance, and leadership audiences.
  • Experience supporting engineering or R&D operations at scale across multiple sites, including in the US and Europe.
  • Automation and scripting skills (SQL, Python, or Power Automate) that replace manual reporting with reliable pipelines.
  • Experience managing enterprise-scale spending (multi-million-dollar budgets) and standing up an analytics or operations function in a new organization.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), or project portfolio systems.
