Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead delivery operations, workforce planning, and execution governance across a growing portfolio of risk and platform solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing resource utilization, enabling effective stakeholder management, and fostering high-performing engineering teams. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance delivery commitments with organizational priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery governance, planning, execution oversight, and operational reviews across multiple engineering teams.
• Drive workforce strategy, including capacity planning, resource forecasting, hiring plans, onboarding, and talent development.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, staffing, and execution goals.
• Own delivery metrics, dashboards, reporting, risk management, and leadership communications, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
• Manage team budgets, headcount planning, vendor resources, and operational expenditures to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, governance frameworks, and best practices to enhance predictability and operational efficiency.
• Lead dependency management, issue resolution, and escalation handling across teams and stakeholder groups.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams by promoting accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support organizational growth initiatives through talent acquisition, succession planning, and workforce optimization.
• Drive compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and operational excellence objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, engineering operations, program delivery, or related leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large engineering teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong expertise in workforce planning, resource management, budgeting, and delivery governance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and modern engineering operating models.
• Ability to influence outcomes across matrixed organizations and drive execution through collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in risk, compliance, platform engineering, or enterprise technology organizations.
• Exposure to PMO functions, portfolio management, and operational governance.
• Experience managing globally distributed teams and vendor partners.
