JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for writing and editing technical documents including requirements documents, specifications, design history files, verification and validation protocols.

Creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation that supports the company’s products and services. This role ensures that complex technical information is translated into user-friendly content for various audiences, including developers, customers, and internal teams.

The Technical Writer will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and subject matter experts to maintain high-quality documentation that enhances user experience and product adoption.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API references, FAQs, and release notes.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for different audiences.
  • Ensure documentation aligns with brand standards and follows best practices for structure and readability.
  • Reviews Design Control documentation to assess compliance to processes and procedures and works with teams to address and correct deficiencies.
  • Participates in product/process improvement, troubleshooting, complaint handling, and customer support.
  • Technical Writing: Write and edit technical documents including requirements documents, specifications, verification and validation documents, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documents, Design Planning documents, Design Review records.
  • Convert relevant product data and information into a form that meets Quality and submission requirements.
  • Review, circulate, edit, assemble, inspect and duplicate reports and documentation.
  • The documents written and managed will be used throughout the product life cycle for on-market and future products.
  • The output provided by the incumbent/candidate is subject to external audit (e.g. ISO). The lack of accuracy and timeliness will impact the Quality system at site and division levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelors Degree Science, Medical Technology or equivalent technical degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience/Background

Minimum 3 years

Relevant experience in a related area such as R&D, Technical Product Development, or Quality in a healthcare industry.

Writing, editing and managing technical documentation utilized in the development of new products and improvement of existing products.

Good written and oral communication skills.
