Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Finance Operations, the incumbent will support executive decision making by performing financial analysis to address complex business needs and implement strategic initiatives. This role will require collaboration with executive leadership, operational leaders, and finance co-workers to determine appropriate assumptions and design business plans. The incumbent will be responsible for financial analysis related to business plans, strategic projects, operational performance, and other ad hoc requests. The incumbent will prioritize projects and instill deadlines in respect to departmental and organizational objectives. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with adjacent Finance team members, reporting and modeling improvements, and data validation.

- Must possess high level skills with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with management and team members
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Must be results-driven to drive quantifiable results
- Must be able to work autonomously with guidance from team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Analytical ability to develop, analyze and interpret application of data
- Ability to plan, set expectations (for self and others), and accomplish multiple objectives within specific timeframes.
- Ability to maintain an organized approach, clarity of purpose, and goal orientation in a rapidly changing environment involving multiple stakeholders of various levels from throughout the organization.
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Ability to collaborate with team members to effectively manage risk and ambiguity on a project
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies
- Knowledge of healthcare market, government rules and regulations
- Knowledge of University and Medical Center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Knowledge of Strata or other similar hospital budgeting and cost accounting systems
- Knowledge of Epic or other similar EMR systems
