Application Engineer (Azure DevOps / IIS / .NET)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Engineer to join the OPERA EVO project, supporting a mission-critical platform used by client. The role focuses on application deployments, environment management, CI/CD processes, release activities, and operational support across multiple environments.
Responsibilities
• Deploy and maintain application releases across Development, Test, Training, and Production environments
• Manage application configuration and environment setup
• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Administer and troubleshoot ASP.NET applications hosted on Microsoft IIS
• Provide 2nd line application support and incident resolution
• Monitor application health, logs, and performance
• Support release management, upgrades, and security patching
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT
• Minimum 3 years of experience in application administration, deployment management, DevOps, or release management
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or mission-critical applications
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Microsoft IIS and ASP.NET application administration
• Knowledge of Git, Active Directory, Group Policies, Service Accounts, and Windows security concepts
• English level B2 or higher
Nice to Have:
• Azure Pipelines
• Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases
• Agile software delivery experience
• Infrastructure automation knowledge
• Experience maintaining complex enterprise application environments
