We are currently searching for a QA Engineer
Role Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) professional with experience in both functional and non-functional testing, focused on ensuring application quality through the definition, execution, and automation of test cases. The candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, validating business requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and technical requirements as well as acceptance criteria.
- Design, document, and execute manual test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using issue tracking tools.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with development, analysis, and business teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
Mandatory (Must-Have)
- Functional Testing: Minimum 2 years of experience in functional testing.
- Test Design: Proven knowledge and experience in designing and executing test cases.
- API Testing: Experience in API validation and testing using Postman.
- Tooling: Proficiency in project and defect management tools such as JIRA.
- Automation Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in test automation.
- Java
- BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
- Java-based automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, or similar).
- Development Tools: Hands-on experience with tools like Visual Studio Code (VS Code).
- Documentation: Experience managing test evidence and quality documentation.
- CRITICAL REQUIREMENT: Hands-on EXPERIENCE WITH PLAYWRIGHT is mandatory.
Languages
- Intermediate Oral English.
- Advanced Spanish.
