We are looking for a Financial Analyst, Global Trade Services to work in an environment that fosters world-class professional development. You will be part of a dynamic and passionate team that has a significant influence on decision-making.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Manage the manufacturing costs of some of the best recreational products on the market.
- Coordinate budget preparation and monitor costs and surcharges related to imports and exports across all regions and business units (Customs and Brokerage).
- Support international business units in controlling costs related to their imports.
- Prepare and present analyses and key performance indicators (KPIs) to help explain financial and operational variances and efficiency gaps within the Trade Compliance group.
- Initiate and participate in cost-reduction projects related to international trade activities.
- Support and implement the required financial controls.
- Optimize, standardize, and document key financial processes.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable with partners and government agencies.
- Collaborate on business case studies related to growth opportunities.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Advanced Excel skills. Power BI is a strong asset. SQL is an asset.
- Ability to work with complex data and present it clearly and concisely.
- Curiosity about new technologies.
- CPA designation.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is essential, both spoken and written. Spanish is an asset.
- Strong team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Ability to influence others and drive results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Dynamic, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
