  • Investigate data discrepancies, system issues and reporting variances by working across multiple systems to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support the Viva Energy Operations business, with a focus on key operational cost drivers including store labour, repairs & maintenance and other store operating expenses.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts relating to store operating costs and operational initiatives.
  • Prepare, maintain and continuously improve financial and operational reports, dashboards and reporting templates to provide timely and meaningful business insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA/CA qualification preferred
  • 4 - 7 years’ experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or a similar finance business partnering role; prior audit experience will be considered advantageous

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively partner with both Finance and Operations teams
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
  • Agile and adaptable mindset, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
