Full description
Would you like to be part of the team shaping how millions of users interact with e-commerce platforms every day?
At Doofinder, we build technology that enhances the search experience in e-commerce, helping thousands of online stores increase their sales. We are a multidisciplinary product team that values critical thinking, autonomy, and execution excellence.
We’re not a large corporation nor an improvised startup. We have traction, product culture, and work to create our own meaningful growth opportunities.
We’re looking for someone with experience, strong judgment, and product vision to join our Product team and help us continue to grow. We’re not just looking for someone to design screens but for a curious, rigorous, and creative mind eager to improve real products in real contexts for real users—while also having the opportunity to help shape the foundations of the team.
Do you see yourself actively contributing to product decisions beyond visual design? Then keep reading.
What We Expect From You
- Leadership: You actively identify current limitations and find ways to overcome them.
- Ownership: You take full responsibility for your work and its impact.
- Reasoning: You think from first principles. You clearly and logically explain your decisions, free from bias.
- Drive: You bring ambition, initiative, and responsibility to everything you do. You aim well above the minimum.
- Team Spirit: You’re generous with your knowledge. You collaborate, share, and prioritize collective success over individual credit.
- You combine product vision with meticulous visual attention to detail.
- You can switch between zooming in (UI, microinteractions) and zooming out (user journeys, business goals).
- You see design as core to the product—not a finishing touch.
- You enjoy helping team members grow and actively contribute to continuous improvement.
- You prefer building and learning over following predefined plans.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solutions: from user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to final visual design.
- Master Figma: reusable components, variants, auto-layout, responsive design, and interactive prototypes.
- Build and maintain a scalable, well-documented design system.
- Detect inconsistencies between design and other departments and collaborate to resolve them.
- Take an active role in discovery processes, problem definition, hypothesis generation, and user validation.
- Work closely with developers and product managers to deliver functional, intuitive, user-focused products.
- Obsess over the details: every padding, every microinteraction, and every choice matters.
- Present and defend design decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Promote best practices and improve product and design team workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- +3 years of experience designing digital products in SaaS, B2B, or other complex platform environments.
- Proven experience collaborating with development, product, and business teams.
- Strong analytical skills and structured thinking.
- Ability to adapt to different product lifecycle stages—from MVP to mature iterations.
- Critical and constructive mindset: you know when to follow patterns and when to break them.
- Strong English skills to collaborate with international teams and conduct user interviews.
Bonus Qualities
- Practical knowledge of HTML/CSS to better communicate with engineers.
