Senior Advisor, Aravo Business Requirements Lead
Our Dell Global Operations team operates one of the largest end-to-end supply chains in the world. Through innovation and operational excellence, we help Dell Technologies grow and win in the data decade – and the integrity, ingenuity, and expertise of our team is at work every step of the way. We deliver Dell’s innovative technology and services portfolio with industry-leading scale and supply chain capabilities, creating an inclusive workplace where team members can reach their full potential. We care about our impact on the environment, the people, and the companies that make up our supply chain. Furthermore, we proactively work to mitigate risk that could affect our global supply chain and procurement operations. The Supply Chain Assurance organization, part of the Global Manufacturing & Operations Technology group, helps safeguard the integrity, security, and resilience of end-to-end supply chain operations. The organization partners across Security, Procurement, Manufacturing Operations, Global Audit and Transformation, Legal, Information Technology, business teams, and the supplier ecosystem to ensure that assurance activities are risk-based, well governed, data-driven, and continuously improving.
As a Senior Advisor, Aravo Business Requirements Lead you, will serve as a senior individual contributor responsible for translating strategic, regulatory, operational, and process needs into complete, configuration-ready requirements for Dell’s enterprise Third-Party Risk Management platform. The role will partner closely with and operate across risk-domain stakeholders, Supply Chain Assurance, Dell IT, solution architects, configuration resources, system integrators, and the Aravo vendor team. The successful candidate will lead complex requirements discovery and analysis, develop high-quality user stories and behavior-driven requirements, facilitate solution-design readiness, maintain end-to-end traceability, and help move approved demand efficiently from business need through design, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
The role requires the judgment to distinguish business requirements from technical solutions, balance competing demands, surface cross-functional dependencies, and move approved requirements efficiently from initial business need through design, testing, deployment, and closure.
You will
- Lead and continuously improve the end-to-end Aravo requirements lifecycle, from demand intake and analysis through prioritization, approval, design readiness, testing, deployment, and closure. Serve as the central business requirements owner for Aravo enhancements, defects, production incidents, regulatory changes, and platform-maturity initiatives. Establish and govern a structured intake process that captures the business problem, desired outcome, accountable owner, affected users, criticality, regulatory driver, dependencies, timing, and impact of non-delivery.
- Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, process reviews, and cross-functional working sessions to define business needs and align affected organizations.Translate strategic, regulatory, operational, process, data, integration, control, and reporting needs into clear user stories, functional requirements, business rules, BDD scenarios, and testable acceptance criteria.
- Analyze current- and future-state processes and distinguish process or governance gaps from configuration needs, integrations, reporting requests, defects, product limitations, and non-Aravo solutions. Evaluate and prioritize demand based on business value, regulatory obligations, control exposure, operational impact, urgency, cross-functional dependencies, delivery capacity, and alignment with the Aravo roadmap and TPRM operating model. Maintain the authoritative Aravo requirements register and prioritized backlog, ensuring accurate ownership, status, documentation, approvals, dependencies, decisions, milestones, and next actions.
- Identify and resolve duplicate, overlapping, conflicting, consolidated, suspended, withdrawn, infeasible, or non-Aravo requests and ensure each receives a clear, documented disposition. Establish requirements-quality standards and definitions of ready, ensuring requirements are complete, clear, consistent, feasible, traceable, testable, business-approved, and sufficiently detailed for IT assessment.
- Lead requirements walkthroughs and design-readiness sessions with business owners, Dell IT, architects, developers, configuration teams, testers, implementation partners, and Aravo resources. Manage the business requirements handoff to IT, support solution-design clarification, govern changes to approved scope, and maintain clear accountability between business requirements ownership and technical delivery.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability from the originating business need through requirements approval, solution design, development, test evidence, deployment, and final disposition. Support quarterly planning, IT sizing, scope lock, sprint readiness, user acceptance testing, deployment, and hypercare by proactively managing requirements, risks, decisions, dependencies, and delivery milestones. Lead requirements-governance forums and provide clear operational and executive reporting on portfolio status, readiness, priorities, blockers, dependencies, required actions, decisions, and delivery risks.
