PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Work Location: Stillwater, MN
Travel Required: 25%

Position Summary
Product Marketing Management is a strategic, high-impact function responsible for envisioning, planning, and executing the development, launch, and continuous optimization of our products. In this role, you will serve as the pivotal bridge connecting cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Sales, and Marketing, with our stakeholders and customers. Your mission will be to drive alignment, champion the product vision, and ensure long-term market success. The Product Marketing Manager will help shift the organization from a product focused approach to customer outcome and application focused GTM model.
Key Responsibilities
Product Advocacy: Serve as the primary product champion and subject matter expert (SME) for internal teams (Sales, R&D) and external customers.
Voice of the Customer (VoC): Conduct qualitative and quantitative VoC research to translate current and future market needs into actionable product requirements, technical specifications, and robust release plans.
Market Exploration: Research, analyze, and identify global market opportunities to fuel the product pipeline and expansion strategies.
Go-To-Market (GTM) Execution: Design and implement comprehensive GTM strategies for new and existing products, tracking post-launch adoption and iterating based on performance metrics.
New Product Introduction: Drive new products commercial launch planning, develop differentiated positioning, and create value proposition specific to specific verticals, applications, and Ideal Customer Profiles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Marketing, or a related technical/scientific field.
3 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a related commercial role.
Proven ability to dissect complex challenges, find root causes, and implement structured solutions.
Strong time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask, manage shifting priorities, and deliver projects in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to quickly learn, synthesize, and comfortably discuss technical or scientific information. Ability to translate technical products into customer value.
Ability to identify market opportunities and product gaps and develop 3–5-year product road maps.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting/standing for long periods of time, with occasional lifting of office products and files
Ability to communicate effectively in English to read, comprehend, speak and hear
Work activity is moderately strenuous with moderate risk.
Lift and move materials up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
Manual dexterity to demonstrate product use.
