Overview

Location: On-site in La Porte, IN

Job Type: Full Time /Contract

Work Authorization: No C2C

The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst. Ideal candidates must have 2+ years of finance accounting including journal entries and reconciliations as well as have completed a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Support month end close
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain daily inventory records
  • Maintain company inventory records for various business segments
  • Review and analyze variances to communicate outliers to management
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Perform reconciliations between Oracle and AS400, adjusting journal entries to the general ledger

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in finance accounting including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using query tools
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
