This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Project Manager - Hyperscale based in the United States.

This is a high-impact project management and sales leadership role supporting major hyperscale data center initiatives across the United States. You will oversee complex electrical assembly project orders, balancing technical requirements, customer expectations, timelines, quality, and commercial objectives. The role sits at the intersection of project execution, electrical engineering, sales, manufacturing, distribution, and strategic customer management. You will work closely with customers, distributors, contractors, internal teams, and project management resources to deliver reliable solutions for mission-critical environments. The position offers significant ownership across the full project lifecycle, with opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen customer relationships. You will also influence sales performance, resource allocation, competitive positioning, and financial outcomes across a broad national territory. Accountabilities:

  • Manage the technical and commercial aspects of major electrical assembly project orders, ensuring customer specifications, documentation, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
  • Establish and maintain effective product and service distribution strategies and agreements across assigned customer and distributor networks.
  • Coordinate sales activities within assigned accounts and customer channels while providing technical and commercial support to distributors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Leverage dedicated project management resources effectively to ensure projects remain aligned with customer requirements, schedules, budgets, and business objectives.
  • Apply advanced sales planning and technical application expertise to support internal stakeholders and develop effective solutions for complex customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, implement new initiatives, and recommend solutions based on customer trends, business analysis, and market developments.
  • Ensure project and sales activities comply with applicable processes, procedures, quality requirements, and business standards.
  • Provide leadership and development to sales professionals, sales representatives, and distributor-channel partners supporting the assigned business.
  • Monitor competitive intelligence and use market information to strengthen positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Negotiate internally for the resources, priorities, and support required to meet customer commitments and project objectives.
  • Drive initiatives that improve financial outcomes for both the business and its customers while maintaining strong service and execution standards.
  • Coordinate business activities across all four U.S. time zones, leveraging geographically distributed resources to provide timely and efficient solutions.
  • Maintain strong ownership of key customer relationships and proactively address risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and deliver product and service presentations to internal and external audiences to build understanding, confidence, and customer acceptance.
  • Travel as needed, up to approximately 25% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing mission-critical data center electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Master’s degree and PMP certification are advantageous.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with the ability to identify and reduce risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assignments, prioritize competing demands, and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with multiple key accounts and leading effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Strong presentation, communication, planning, and negotiation skills, including confidence working with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of plant front-end scheduling, engineering processes, manufacturing operations, and equipment cycle times.
  • Advanced computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, and relevant sales and project management systems such as Salesforce and Bidmanager.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and customer situations while maintaining proactive order management and high service standards.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect technical project execution with sales, customer, and financial objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively across a geographically distributed organization and coordinate resources across all four U.S. time zones.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored immigration support.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
