Position Overview
The Business Systems Analyst is a key member of the Technology team, responsible for the business requirements gathering, design, and management of automations, workflows, and integrations across the firm's systems. A significant aspect of this role will be focusing on the management of AI platforms and agents, ensuring they align with strategic initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. This position will also be pivotal in gathering requirements across technology and workflows, overseeing implementation, and ensuring comprehensive documentation of all automations, agents, workflows, and integrations, particularly for CRM and other critical business systems.
Responsibilities
Requirements Management
- Elicit, analyze, and document system and user interface requirements from diverse stakeholders, drawing on experience across wealth management and technology.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Prioritize requirements based on business value, feasibility, and compliance factors to maximize impact.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure final solutions accurately reflect defined requirements.
- Manage iterative changes throughout the development lifecycle, maintaining focus on delivering business value.
Platform Management
- Contribute to the selection, configuration, and deployment of AI and technology platforms.
- Develop, train, and fine-tune AI agents to perform specific tasks or provide intelligent assistance.
- Monitor the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions, making adjustments as needed.
- Work to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into existing workflows and applications.
- Stay informed on emerging AI technologies and best practices to continually enhance capabilities.
Documentation and Process Improvement
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for all automated processes, workflows, and AI agent configurations.
- Maintain detailed records of system integration architectures and API specifications.
- Prepare user guides and training materials for new automations and integrated features.
- Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current operational processes.
- Propose and implement innovative automation and integration solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall business processes.
- Measure and report on the impact of implemented process improvements and new documentation standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in automation, workflow development, and system integration, preferably within financial services.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing integrations between various business systems, including CRM platforms.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to gather, interpret, and synthesize data to identify insights, patterns, and root causes of issues.
- Requirements Elicitation and Documentation: Expertise in interviewing stakeholders, running workshops, and using methodologies· (e.g., user stories, use cases, process flows) to capture and document current and desired states.
- Effective Communication: Proficiency in clearly conveying findings, recommendations, and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Change Management: Ability to manage iterative updates in requirements, communicating changes effectively and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated experience configuring, deploying, and managing AI platforms and agents (for example, LLM-based assistants and workflow automations).
- Strong understanding of system and user interface requirements gathering and management.
- Ability to organize work, manage time, and balance multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment under ambiguity.
- Self-directed and able to take initiative without needing close supervision, while knowing when to escalate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional documentation and cross-functional collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new tools, platforms, and methodologies as the role and function evolve.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Preferred
- Prior experience within a broker-dealer, RIA, or other regulated financial services environment.
- Experience with Zoho CRM and HubSpot
- Experience in supporting technology transformations or operational redesign initiatives.
- Familiarity with project management or workflow platforms (e.g., Monday.com or comparable).

Salary Range
Annual base salary range (full-time equivalent): $95,000 to $125,000.
Final offer will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience, demonstrated capabilities, and internal equity considerations. The position is also eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus consideration.
