Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic member who can bridge Supply Chain / Trade Operations expertise, technology leadership, advanced analytics, and AI-driven innovation. The successful candidate will drive transformation by combining supply chain business knowledge, digital capabilities, and strong leadership to deliver world-class solutions that improve compliance, visibility, operational efficiency, and business performance across Caterpillar's global trade and logistics network.
What You Will Do
- Lead analytics and digital transformation initiatives supporting Global Trade Management and Logistics Operations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and AI adoption.
- Translate complex business challenges into actionable analytics and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and implement advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation solutions.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to business leaders through effective visualizations and storytelling.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analytics project teams.
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Digital Transformation, or Information Technology.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data analytics methodologies.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Oracle, Snowflake, SAS, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Trade Compliance or Global Trade Operations.
Success Measures
- Business value realization through analytics and drawback / refund initiatives.
- Adoption and scalability of Automation / AI solutions.
- Improvement in process efficiency and Audit Automation.
