Senior Engineering Manager - LED Phototherapy Devices

We are looking for an experienced, foreign based Senior Engineering Manager to lead and manage our product development team, ensuring our engineering output meets the highest international quality, regulatory and technical standards.

What you'll be doing:

This role sits at the critical interface between our overseas clients and our internal R&D, production, and quality teams. You will directly manage a client's dedicated product development team, translating client technical requirements and expectations into actionable engineering plans, while ensuring our factory-side execution (PCB design, optical/LED systems, mechanical/silicone tooling, and QA testing) meets spec, cost, and timeline targets.

•    Team & Project Management: Lead and manage the client's product development team (engineers, PMs), setting priorities, timelines, and deliverables for multiple concurrent LED phototherapy product programs (masks, panels, and related devices).团队与项目管理： 领导管理客户产品开发团队（工程师、项目管理人员），统筹多条并行 LED 光疗产品项目（光疗面罩、光疗板及配套设备），制定工作优先级、项目时间表与交付目标。

•    Client Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact for overseas clients, translating client requirements (specs, tolerances, regulatory targets) into clear internal engineering briefs, and communicating design trade-offs, delays, or quality issues professionally and proactively (e.g. phased delivery plans during spec deviations). 客户技术对接： A作为海外客户首要技术对接窗口，将客户需求（技术规格、公差标准、法规要求）整理为清晰的内部工程需求文档；主动、专业地沟通设计取舍、项目延期、质量风险等问题（例如规格变更时制定分阶段交付方案）。

•    Engineering Oversight: Review and approve PCB schematics/BOMs, LED wavelength and optical power design, thermal and ESD considerations, and mechanical/silicone tooling designs for manufacturability and medical-grade reliability. 工程管控审核: 审核并确认 PCB 原理图、物料清单（BOM）、LED 波长与光功率方案、散热及静电防护设计、机械 / 硅胶模具方案，评估量产可行性以及医疗器械级可靠性。

•    Quality & Testing: Own resolution of technical quality issues (e.g. LED wavelength tolerance deviations, optical power/irradiance testing methodology), and help drive automation of optical testing workflows (e.g. NFC-integrated, multi-channel spectral testing). 质量与测试管理: 牵头解决各类技术质量问题（如 LED 波长公差偏差、光功率 / 辐照度测试方案优化），推动光学测试流程自动化（集成 NFC、多通道光谱检测方案等）。

•    Supplier & Cost Management: Coordinate with key component suppliers (e.g. LED chip suppliers) on inventory, lead times, and cost/quality trade-offs; support commercial quoting and cost analysis for new programs. 供应商与成本管控：对接 LED 芯片等核心元器件供应商，协调库存、交期，平衡成本与品质；协助新项目商务报价及成本核算。

•    Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure development processes align with ISO 13485, FDA, MDR, and NMPA requirements as applicable to target export markets. 法规合规管理: 确保产品研发流程符合目标出口市场适用标准：ISO 13485、美国 FDA、欧盟 MDR、中国 NMPA 法规要求。

•    Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with production, sales, and R&D teams in Shenzhen to ensure smooth handoff from design to manufacturing. 跨部门协同: 深度协同深圳生产、销售、研发团队，保障产品从设计顺利转入量产阶段。

Skills, knowledge & expertise:

•    Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optics/Photonics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 本科及以上学历，电气工程、光学 / 光子学、生物医学工程、机械工程或相关专业

•    8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in a team/project management role. 8 年以上工程相关工作经验，其中至少 3 年团队 / 项目管理经验

•    Prior experience with LED lighting, optics, photobiomodulation (PBM), or medical device product development strongly preferred. 有 LED 光源、光学、光生物调节（PBM）、医疗器械产品开发经验优先

•    Experience managing hardware development programs end-to-end: schematic/PCB review, optical/electrical testing, mechanical tooling, and DFM. 具备硬件全流程项目管理经验：原理图 & PCB 评审、光电测试、机械模具开发、面向制造设计（DFM）

•    Familiarity with medical device regulatory frameworks (ISO 13485, FDA, MDR, NMPA) is a strong plus. 熟悉医疗器械法规体系（ISO13485、FDA、MDR、NMPA）者优先

RMB 35,000 – 50,000 gross / month
