Job Description
Due to company growth, Adept Security Systems Ltd are now looking to employ a brand new apprentice to join their team!
You will be working alongside an experienced Engineer to install and maintain the following systems:
- Access Control
- CCTV
- Intruder Alarms
- Fire Alarms
Entry Requirements
- A drivers licence is preferred, if you don't have this, you will be expected to obtain before the end of the apprenticeship
- Ideally live within Wolverhampton, or within a reasonable commute
- Experience with electrics, or an electric-related qualification would be a bonus, but not essential
- Genuine interest in learning more about the wider fire and security industry
- Wanting to start a long career in the fire and security industry
- Technically minded, with solid IT skills
- Happy to attend Skills for Security's Walsall training centre one full week in every 8 weeks for block release classroom training
- Presentable, with great customer service
- Able to pass an enhanced criminal background check
Training to be Provided
This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.
Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Walsall center, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
