We are seeking an experienced Project Manager-QA/QC to lead our operations and drive continuous improvement across our testing, inspection, and certification services.
Required Qualifications and Background Experience:
1. Engineering degree (Mechanical, Metallurgy, or equivalent)
2. 15+ years’ experience in oil and gas onshore and offshore projects
3. Experience in quality control and assurance
4. Experience in management and supervision of procurement inspections
Job Responsibilities:
1. Lead and oversee Team Leaders who manage the day-to-day activities of coordinators and inspectors
2. Act as the first-level focal point for the client teams (Quality, Procurement/Expediting, Coordination) for contract execution, reporting on technical and executional matters
3. Delegate operational and technical tasks to Team Leaders as appropriate, ensuring accountability and timely delivery
4. Attend key KOMs (Kick-Off Meetings), PIMs (Pre-Inspection Meetings), and Progress Meetings, delegating routine attendance to Team Leaders where applicable
5. Ensure compliance and achievement of contract quality and commercial KPIs
6. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client quality requirements and project specifications across all disciplines
7. Monitor project schedule updates from the client
8. Provide leadership, technical, and administrative support to the team as needed
