Job Description

Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be involved in On-Board Emissions & Fuel Economy team of Powertrain Department for all kind of vehicle technologies: ICE, PHEV, HEV, EV and FCEV. The activities to be carried out will consist in:

  • Project Management
  • Coordination of activities with other departments and areas
  • Follow-up with the customers (presentation, meeting reports, ...)
  • Follow-up of the different activities to be performed in one specific project
  • Complete vehicle testing and analysis in the field of on-board emissions (PEMS) and fuel/energy consumption, mainly for Heavy-Duty vehicle applications
  • Managing and reporting the related activities of those projects
  • Analysis of the process and improvements proposals 

Responsibilities:

  • Involved in projects for fuel/energy consumption as well as exhaust emissions (PEMS) measurements and fuel consumption improvement in heavy-duty vehicles. This projects also will include some other testing activities performed by other IDIADA's areas
  • Activities organization and planning
  • Process analisys and detection of potential improvements.
  • Master plan project definition and exploding to sub-tasks and milestones.
  • Daily communications with involved areas to plan and monitor daily tasks
  • Quality improvements and automation of data post-processing
  • Project Management
  • Preparation of the quotation for the customers.
  • Presentations (commercials and projects) to the customers.
  • Regular meetings with the customers
  • Risk analisys and action plan definitions

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in vehicle testing
  • Client orientation
  • Skills on Office pack and macros Excel.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Willing to travel abroad for testing and commercial visits
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and good team player role.

Added value:

  • Experience in LDV testing for Real Driving Emissions (RDE)
  • Experience in HDV testing for SORT, VTP and HDV testing Non-Road Mobile Machinery (NRMM).
  • Knowledge of RDE and WLTP regulations
  • Technical knowledge of HDV related engines and powertrains
  • Experience in automotive sector
  • Experience measuring instruments and fitting external instrumentation to vehicle/engine
  • INCA and Diadem
  • Fuel / energy meters (HIOKI; AVL; Emerson…)
  • Experience in project management as well customer services
  • Expertise in whole vehicle testing specially for heavy duty vehicles (HDV) in PWT field, mainly fuel/energy consumption, and emissions

Education:

  • University Degree in Mechanic, Electronics or similar.

Languages:

  • Spanish and English fluent
  • French and German is valuable.
