Shape the future of Salesforce at IAG and help drive the ongoing evolution of a critical enterprise platform. This is not solely a project focused architecture role. Instead, you'll be a strategic technology partner who helps design the Salesforce ecosystem across business as usual operations, transformation programs, platform uplift, governance and continuous improvement. Working across multiple priorities, you'll influence technology direction, support business outcomes and bring clarity to complex challenges. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery to ensure Salesforce continues to meet the needs of both today and tomorrow. This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne).

 

What You'll Do

  • Shape the ongoing evolution of the Salesforce platform, ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, technology strategy and long-term business objectives. 
  • Own high-level and low-level Salesforce solution design, recommending scalable, secure and supportable approaches based on customer and business needs
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape solution approaches, assess opportunities and influence architectural outcomes. 
  • Drive architecture governance by developing clear artefacts, presenting recommendations and contributing to design reviews and decision forums. 
  • Collaborate with platform, domain and enterprise architects to ensure solutions align with broader technology strategies and standards. 
  • Guide delivery teams by providing architectural leadership, mentoring technical specialists and supporting successful implementation outcomes. 
  • Lead and facilitate workshops that uncover business needs, simplify complexity and build alignment around practical, customer focused solutions. 

 

What You'll Bring

  • Proven Experience designing Salesforce solutions within complex enterprise environments and major transformation initiatives. 
  • Confidence influencing stakeholders and and translating technical concepts into clear recommendations across business, technology and leadership groups. 
  • Experience balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strategic focus and architectural integrity in a fast paced environment. 
  • Collaborative approach to working with enterprise, platform and solution architecture communities. 
  • Essential: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including integration with other cloud platforms. 
  • Strong knowledge of scalable Salesforce architecture, security, integration, environment strategy and CI/CD practices. 
  • Preferred: Experience in insurance or financial services is preferred. Relevant Salesforce architecture certifications are highly regarded.
